About the Paesaggio Collection Each of these pieces is painstakingly painted by a Master Artist at the FIMA Company in Deruta, Italy. He paints each scene, including the buildings, trees and landscape by hand and, when complete, covers the design by lightly dabbing on the brownish/goldish color, thus giving the pieces an antique feel. All of the pieces in this collection are food safe and can be used as serving dishes and/or decorative objects. Please note that pieces in this collection will vary in the scenes that are depicted, both across different types of shapes and within a particular shape itself (the photos present examples within each shape). This only adds to the beauty of owning a collection of Paesaggio pieces. |
